I am Jane Wamaitha, a driven student enrolled at the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, proudly calling Nakuru County my home. My fervor for geology and programming has cultivated my expertise in various programming languages, coupled with proficiency in ArcGIS for geospatial analysis. During my educational journey, I undertook a transformative one-month Gro Geothermal Training, enriching my skills in geological exploration and resource assessment. I contributed my talents to meaningful projects at the Ministry of Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate Change, further advancing my knowledge and experience in the field.
In my quest for comprehensive growth, I participated in the Sinapis Program, where I acquired entrepreneurial acumen, broadening my horizons beyond academia. My involvement in impactful initiatives like Transformative Africa has allowed me to actively contribute to positive change. Currently, I hold the role of a community-led development facilitator in underprivileged communities at Corp Africa. Here, my dedication is focused on empowering communities and fostering sustainable development. Driven by an unwavering passion, I strive to make a significant impact at the intersection of geology, technology, entrepreneurship, and community development, wherever I go.
