Ines UWINEZA was born and raised in Northern Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Agribusiness from the College of Agriculture, Animal Science, and Veterinary Medicine. During her time at university, she attended a one-month training at a farm field school organized by GIZ in 2022, where she gained valuable knowledge in sales strategies and marketing skills. Her goal is to continually explore new avenues for enhancing productivity, increasing farmers’ income, fostering environmental stewardship, and promoting economic growth in the agricultural and agro-processing industries.
Before joining CorpsAfrica, Ines completed her academic internship at Rwanda Mountain Tea, where she served as an Agronomist in the tea value chain and worked to improve the welfare of workers through sustainable agricultural practices and innovative farming solutions. During that time, she developed valuable skills in agricultural practices, community engagement, and community development. Ines’s mission is to empower people by utilizing local resources and creating sustainable, community-driven solutions.
