Tuyizere Ange Isabelle was born and raised in Nyanza District in Rwanda’s Southern Province. She holds a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences (PIASS), where she gained the knowledge and skills to tackle pressing environmental challenges.
During her studies, she completed internships with key organizations, including roles as an Environmentalist with the Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC) and the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum, and Gas Board (RMB), as well as serving as a researcher at the Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources (CoEB). These experiences equipped her with hands-on expertise in water management, environmental policy, and sustainable practices.
Isabelle is passionate about promoting sustainable development and is deeply motivated to serve and make a positive impact in her community. She believes that each person is unique and that small actions can lead to meaningful change.
