Rodrigue Turimubacu is a passionate Agricultural Economics graduate from the University of Rwanda, with a strong interest in leadership, sustainability, and community development. Throughout his academic journey, he gained valuable skills in areas such as business management, environmental economics, and international trade. His internship experience at the Mareba sector in Bugesera allowed him to engage in critical agricultural practices like post-harvest handling, buffer zone management, and irrigation systems, furthering his expertise in sustainable agriculture.
Rodrigue’s leadership abilities are evident in his coordination of Catholic community activities at Groupe Scolaire Rango, where he organized and regulated various events while fostering interfaith collaboration. Additionally, his commitment to social impact is reflected in his extensive volunteering experience, including building kitchen gardens and supporting vulnerable communities during COVID-19. As an Enumerator for the University of Rwanda, Rodrigue contributed to research projects on dietary practices and community well-being, showcasing his dedication to community development.
