Prosscovia Namubiru Ssentamu is an Associate Professor of Education in the School of Management Science at Uganda Management Institute. She is a senator at Uganda Management Institute and a member of the examinations committee of the senate. In addition, she is an appointed member by the Uganda Ministry of Education to spearhead the development of the National Qualifications Framework for Uganda. Furthermore, she was appointed by the Uganda National Examinations Board as a resource person to support the development of continuous assessment tools for the revised lower secondary school curriculum. She has won several awards including the Commonwealth Scholarship partial award for a graduate certificate in quality assurance at the University of Melbourne, the Mellon/Carnegie Scholarship award for Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Technology at the University of Cape Town South Africa, the Catholic Academic Exchange Services (KAAD) scholarship award and the Kulika Scholarship award for Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum at the Institute of Education, University of London.
