Jean De Dieu Rukundo was born and raised in Rwanda. He graduated from the University of Rwanda with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and served as a class representative during his studies. Rukundo’s passion for healthcare and patient well-being led him to intern at Muhima Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in patient care and research on bacteria-antibiotic resistance.
He also completed a professional internship at the National Agricultural Export Board, ensuring the quality and compliance of agricultural export commodities. Rukundo has actively volunteered at Ten Talents International Rwanda, a non-governmental organization focused on vulnerable children and families. He co-founded Rwanda Youth Volunteers, organizing fundraising events and promoting community policing.
