Chief Financial Officer

Nicholas Ruhly serves as CorpsAfrica’s Chief Financial Officer. As a Certified Public Accountant, he brings his accounting, financial, and auditing acumen to bear for organizations whose mission he believes in. Most recently, Nicholas worked for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) where he led the implementation of the annual Pre-Disaster Mitigation grant program, helped establish the “Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities” grant program, and advocated for a sound financial framework for the National Flood Insurance Program. Prior to this, Nicholas served as a Sustainable Community Development volunteer with the Peace Corps in the Kyrgyz Republic, helping entrepreneurs with business planning and strategies for sustainability, offering workshops on grant writing, and teaching financial and computer literacy courses.
