Emmanuel NSENGIMANA holds a Bachelor’s degree in Crop Sciences (the University of Rwanda, College of Agricultural, Animal Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine), majoring in Horticultural Production. In community outreach, He has championed the creation of the Agriculture Value Chain Group based in Nyaruguru whereby youth and graduates from the college of agricultural work together to solve farmers’ problems, especially the Irish potato seed problem, conducting community outreach and providing extensional services on best agricultural techniques( BATs) and he is Aglnfruencers through different social media. His varied experience in academia is enriched by his extensive work in different NGOs and companies like ActionAid Rwanda under the project of Improving Food Security and Boosting Farm Income for Women Smallholder Farmers in Rwanda-IFS Project, One Acre Fund in tree planting and distribution, and served in HingAMAFÂRANGA RWANDA for pro- farmers research and extension. In academia and personal growth, he served as campus director in United National Academic Impact ( Millenium fellowship), attended workshops and training on the circular production system and Design thinking organized by Neu- Ulm University of Applied Sciences of Germany (HNU) and University of Rwanda, he served as Chairperson and project director of HingAMAFÂRANGA club at university of Rwanda under the mission of empowering students to empower farmers for harnessing incomes from agriculture, he has done academic internship at National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB) and development rural durable (DRD).
