Camarade Nkurunziza was born in Rwanda. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science, and Veterinary Medicine (UR-CAVM). He served as a Class Representative (Chief of Promotion).
He has contributed to UR-SIDA as a Data Enumerator and served as a SUVI Champion (Societal University Village Initiative) in UR-Sweden under the project “Engendering Rural Transformation for Sustainable Development (ENTRUST)” as a team leader in Musanze District. He has also worked as a Data Enumerator at RWACOF/Coffee Washing Station, interned at Rubavu district in the Social Development Unit, and worked in data entry at LODA/Rubavu district.
Additionally, Camarade Nkurunziza is certified in Survey Methodology by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and holds certificates in Agricultural Extension, Rural Development, crop science, and Soil Conservation from Energy Radio. He is a value-driven professional who believes in honesty and hard work. He strives to make a sustainable impact with minimal resources and is reliable, organized, and highly adaptive to new challenges and environments.
