Niwamanya Alex is a graduate with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration specializing in Management. Alex is a young entrepreneur who is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pavict FT Company Limited, a company that deals in micro-lending and estate management in western Uganda. Alex has worked as Programs Manager of League for Peace and Joy of Young Generation in the Nakivale refugee settlement, Alex served in Rushekyera village, Kabale district western Uganda, through his work two community groups have been established one of which is the Rushekyera Youths Association of 35 youths which has been formally registered as a community-based organization. Another group of 41 members is engaged in commercial Irish poterie growing, Alex has supported 63 homes to set up kitchen gardens to promote nutrition,10 homes with energy-saving Stoves, and 6 homes with dish racks. Through his community work, Alex has used ABCD, HCD, and innovators compass approaches to identify a project for the youths where the youth group started a honey bee project as an enterprise promoting eco-friendly employment opportunities for 50 youths through honey processing and making wax by-products, As a young entrepreneur, Alex seeks in setting up an income generating enterprise, this is the change he desires to see, Currently, Alex is serving as an Exchange Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Senegal.
