Janerose Namwanje is a CorpsAfrica Exchange Volunteer in Rwanda. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Arts in Economics from Kyambogo University and is an Aspire Leaders Alumni from Harvard University. She also completed a short course on SDGs and law from Cambridge University.
Janerose has volunteered with CorpsAfrica/Uganda in community-led development and Human-Centered Design. She has worked as an Operations Officer at Guaranty Trust Bank Uganda and served as an advocate intern with the Civil Society and Budget Advocacy Group. Currently, she is a Community Development Facilitator at CorpsAfrica Rwanda.
With expertise in project planning and implementation, leadership, resource mobilization, data analysis, advocacy, and banking, she is committed to self-improvement and carrying out various initiatives. Janerose conducts capacity-building training and financial training projects in rural communities. Her goal is to promote equity and empower marginalized and vulnerable people.
