Faith Adisa Musumba is a passionate and results-driven Food Security and Community Nutrition scientist with a background in community engagement, research, and project management. She holds a Master’s degree in Horticulture Science from Nanjing Agricultural University, China, a Master’s degree in Food Security & Community Nutrition from Gulu University, Uganda, and a Bachelor’s in Horticultural Sciences from Egerton University, Kenya. Currently serving as a Community-Led Development Facilitator at CorpsAfrica in Tharaka Nithi, Kenya, Faith plays a key role in facilitating sustainable community development through human-centered design and asset-based community development approaches. With experience working in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, Faith outperforms in resilience livelihood programming, proposal development, and technical report writing. Her professional journey includes roles at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital as a Nutritionist Intern, Livelihood and Resilient intern at World Vision Kenya, and as an Agricultural Sales Advisor at Wananchi Farmers Store, where she supported agricultural innovations that contributed to enhanced food security. Faith is skilled in capacity building, training community members on financial literacy, kitchen gardening, and sustainable agricultural practices. Faith is driven by her commitment to making a lasting impact through empowering communities to take charge of their development. Her dedication to improving food security and enhancing livelihoods underlines her contributions to humanitarian and development work across East Africa.
