Boniface Munene is a skilled agronomist known for his passion for promoting Agricultural production and enhancing community development through sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. Boniface was born and raised in Meru County in a family of three him being the first born and the only boy. He studied his primary and secondary education in Meru after which he joined Pwani University where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. During this period, Boniface was actively involved in community development activities and volunteerism as he was a beneficiary of Compassion International Kenya and a class representative at the university. Volunteerism and communal services were skills he gained as he grew. With expertise in crop and livestock production, he works as a Volunteer at CorpsAfrica/Kenya where he focuses on promoting community-led development in local communities to enable community members to realize resources within them and use these resources to initiate developments in their areas. Boniface Munene is known for his community outreach roles, creating awareness and mentorship in the community as well as promoting and advocating for sustainable agricultural production to promote food security in the community. Boniface views volunteerism at CorpsAfrica as a great channel to develop his career and as a way to help people in rural communities embrace sustainable production and fight poverty which is a big threat in society.
