Eric Mutunga Muli is a young philanthropist born and raised in the Eastern Region of Kenya, Makueni County. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering from the Technical University of Mombasa and is committed to bringing positive change to the biomedical engineering field, working towards developing technologies that save human lives. Eric is currently a Volunteer at CorpsAfrica/Kenya where he is a facilitator of community-led development in Nakuru County. In CorpsAfrica, he has been equipped with hands-on skills which are helpful in community engagement. Eric is also equipped with first aid skills and is indeed a good public speaker.
Eric is the current Secretary General of the Makueni University Students Association (MUSA), Kibwezi West Chapter, where his leadership and dedication are evident.
Eric previously worked as a project officer at UCESCO Africa Mombasa Branch, he has worked on several projects including marine conservation in the Shelly Beach area, women empowerment, and Moroto slum residents’ empowerment. These projects have been a great success, further demonstrating Eric’s passion for community development and empowerment.
Eric is also a gifted musician, passionate about gospel songs and the piano. His natural leadership abilities have seen him lead in various student councils and Africa Inland Church organizations. As a political strategist, Eric has gained valuable experience and holds certifications in Transformative Leadership from Silicon Consultancies and in Youth leadership from the Africa Inland Church.
Eric strongly believes in young leadership and is dedicated to empowering young people, striving to inspire the next generation to lead and create positive change.
