Branson Briadox Mogaka was born in Siaya County and brought up in different regions of Kenya due to the nature of his parent’s work. This made him appreciate traditions, diversity, inclusion, and community at a tender age. He was raised in a family of four siblings, him being the third born.
He schooled at The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in Nandi, pursuing a Degree in Business Administration. During that period, he was actively involved in community activities and was also part of the university hockey team.
Through his desire to perform, he has embraced a fanatical interest in promoting community development by utilizing his skills and education. Over the years, he has gained a unique sense of purpose by serving those around him as a volunteer. He believes, a significant number of the services and events enjoyed in our communities would not be so readily available were it not for volunteers. He has served as a Volunteer in a community-based organization Known as Compassion International Kenya and the journey has been worth it.
Being a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Cohort 3, he takes it as an opportunity for growth and to serve the people of Baringo, using the skills and knowledge acquired in school, life, and the CorpsAfrica training to champion grassroots development. I believe this will propel sustainable community development in the region.
Serving humanity is the best one can do for the community and the country by using the available resources for a better Kenya and a better Africa.
