Chipiriro Mkumba is an Agricultural Economics graduate from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. In 2019, he volunteered with Chia Cane Growers Association in order to provide agricultural technical expertise to cane growers. In 2020, he worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant at SAFI-Extension Programme with the core aim to build resilient families through agricultural innovations. He also worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Intern with Salima District Council in 2021. In this role, Chipiriro was responsible for providing support for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems. Due to his passion for climate change impact mitigation and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Advocacy, Chipiriro co-founded Salima Link for Sustainable Community Development. He believes that being a CorpsAfrica Volunteer will help him achieve his desire to be an ambassador for positive change.
