Pearl Mbowana is a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment, quality education, and sustainable community development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Planning and Development and an Honours degree in Anthropology from the University of Zululand. Pearl gained practical experience as an Intern in the Waste Management Department at Mbombela Local Municipality, specializing in environmental management, sustainability, community project development, anthropology, and research. Her commitment to education is reflected in her recent organization of a successful career expo, helping learners explore career pathways and connect with valuable opportunities. Driven by the belief that collaboration leads to sustainable impact, she follows the principle: “If you want to go fast, travel alone; but if you want to go far, go together.” Pearl’s passion for community development makes her involvement with CorpsAfrica a natural fit, offering a platform to drive meaningful change while fostering collective growth and learning.
