Grace Mathinji is a Community Development and Environment graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University. She is an environmentalist and an occupational health and safety specialist. She has worked as a sales and marketing assistant for pest control and hygiene services. She has been involved in community development projects, where she orchestrated a series of projects including monthly mental health walks, tree planting events, and youth mentorship programs; positively influencing over 500 lives in the past year. Through this, she has gained skills such as project management, communication, and leadership. She also demonstrates excellent lifesaving skills. She is self-driven and has developed practical skills with time. She is passionate about environmental conservation and protection. She is mainly motivated by the desire to make a difference in the world, whether through community service, activism, or working in fields such as healthcare, education, or social justice. Her source of motivation has been the desire for continuous self-improvement and the accomplishment of knowledge and new skills. She has a sense of curiosity and the desire for new experiences and adventures, inspiring travel, exploration, and a sense of wonder about the world.
