Blessings Manda is a development practitioner. He graduated from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. He is passionate about impacting the lives of people in rural areas. Before he served as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, he worked with the Mwanza district council as an enumerator, and he has also worked with World Vision Malawi both in Mwanza and Salima as a research assistant, where he established poverty levels of targeted beneficiaries, identified and mapped children with disabilities in the area programs. He is more than zealous to see people in rural communities reach a point where accessing basic needs as entitled by every human being is not a problem. Along these lines, Blessings can be described as an agent of change who believes that the people are responsible for developing their own lives. That is why he has embarked on a journey of being part of community-led initiatives.
