Grace Maabo recently graduated from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, with a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition Education. Before Joining CorpsAfrica, Grace served as a Food and Nutrition teacher during her national service at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Girls Senior High School in Techiman. During her national service, Grace started a food service business on a small scale, with hopes of expanding it shortly. She held the positions of Assistant Organizer and Public Relations Officer for the Nadowli Kaleo Students Union, UCC chapter, during the 2021/2022 academic year respectfully. In these roles, she collaborated with other executives and patrons to ensure the smooth running of the union while brainstorming initiatives to benefit younger students in her district. Grace also served as a dining hall prefect at St. Francis Girls Senior High School in Jirapa during the 2018/2019 academic year, where she took the initiative to enhance the dining experience for students. In addition to being a dining prefect, Grace held an executive position as the Evangelism Coordinator for the Scripture Union in high school. She made it her mission to visit and check on members in their dormitories to ensure everyone was doing well and that any problems were shared and addressed among students.
