STAINA LUKUMBA is a graduate of Mzuzu University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Transformative Community Development. She is passionate about developing and enhancing the well-being of the most underprivileged people in rural communities, empowering women and girls through education and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, promoting good health, and focusing on promoting food security. Before joining CorpsAfrica, Staina volunteered with the Malawi Scotland Partnership as a Communications Officer, she was responsible for posting and handling the organization pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and scheduling meetings, she volunteered as a Peer Educator at Apause Malawi in mentoring young girls and boys in different secondary schools in Mzuzu about Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and education. She was also a member of the Youth Action Movement (YAM) which is under the Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM) which she was dealing with issues to do with Sexual Reproductive Health Rights among men and women. Staina considers it an honor to have the opportunity to work with CorpsAfrica, as she believes her service will enable the community to create a sustainable solution to some of their challenges.
