Harriet Lynn Kumbani is a Sociologist who is passionate about rural development and volunteerism. She has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations in Malawi including Orbus Mission Primary School, Little Big Prints, Chanco Project Rejuvenation, and Project Triple. She also co-led a fundraising initiative for Palna Children’s Home while studying in Delhi, India, and has experience as the Logistics Coordinator for Student Driven Solutions, Zomba. In her free time, Harriet enjoys gardening, sightseeing, and listening to poetry. Harriet is a member of both United People Global and YouthLead. She looks forward to dedicating her life to improving the welfare and quality of life of disadvantaged members of the community and she believes that CorpsAfrica brings her a step closer to achieving this. Harriet holds a joint degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Ashoka University, India, as well as a certificate in Human Resource Management.
