Pemphero Kilembe is a motivated young female with a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from The Catholic University of Malawi. Her passion for improving the well-being of people living in rural communities is rooted in her previous studies. She is passionate about being a part of the community, including working as a field officer for Innovations for Poverty Action, where she worked with women in rural areas, serving as a Sunday school teacher in her community, and tobacco and poultry farming as a part-time business venture in Kasungu. Due to her previous work experience, she has knowledge of working with rural communities, strong interpersonal skills, and enjoys conversing with others. Pemphero is not afraid to take on new challenges and loves sightseeing, reading novels, and writing in her free time.
She is also very passionate about female empowerment, especially in rural communities, and is very excited to be a part of an initiative that improves the lives of people in rural communities. CorpsAfrica provides an opportunity to be a part of this change, and she is ecstatic to be a CorpsAfrica Volunteer.
