Tapiwa Khutakumutu has extensive volunteer experience due to her passion for charity work. Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, she volunteered at the Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services (DCCMS) Headquarters for 12 months and she was an active member of the Leadership, Organization and Experience (LEO) club during her university days. She also worked as an Enumerator and Field Facilitator for several organizations including Northern Region Water Board, and Association for Rural and Community Development (ARCOD). Tapiwa became interested in sustainable development when she first worked as a Field Supervisor for National Statistics Office (NSO) during the 2018 Malawi Population and Housing Census. This experience exposed her to the high poverty levels in rural communities and she believes that joining CorpsAfrica will enhance her skills and capability to implement sustainable projects in her community. Tapiwa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and Climate Sciences obtained from The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) in 2019.
