Dalitso Kazembe is a young Chewa woman from Lilongwe, Malawi. She graduated from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) with an advanced diploma in business management under the ABMA board. She is enthusiastic about using her skills in team building, leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship to make a meaningful impact in the communities she works in as well as within businesses. In her high school years, she joined a charity club that was focused on helping little children who were in orphanages and also donating blood to Malawi blood transfusion. This experience has helped her realize that you do not need to be older to make an impact; you just need to have a heart to help. Although still at the beginning of her professional career, Dalitso’s academic background has provided her with a solid foundation in financial management, strategic planning, and effective communication. She is deeply motivated by a passion for helping others and seeks opportunities to work in settings where she can make a meaningful impact. Through her work with CorpsAfrica, she has completed training in human-centered design and asset-based community-led development. This experience has deepened her understanding of how to mobilize existing skills, strengths, and resources to drive sustainable community development. Dalitso’s vision is to foster transformative growth by empowering those around her, whether in a corporate setting or through direct engagement with her community. She plans to complete her studies and get her degree in business administration after gaining experience through volunteering, which will enhance her skills and knowledge.
