Rose Kahiga is a passionate community health professional with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Development from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She is dedicated to improving public health and empowering communities through education and sustainable health interventions. Rose has extensive experience in health education, preventive healthcare, and community engagement, including internships at Riruta Hospital and Beacon of Hope Rescue Centre. She has led health education sessions, provided preventive care, and supported maternal and child health programs. Additionally, Rose has contributed to public health research, participating in national surveys on substance abuse among university students. Her work extends to organizing workshops, promoting healthy lifestyles, and advocating for children’s rights. She collaborates with professionals to address both physical and mental health needs in the communities she serves. With qualifications in peer counseling and data protection, and as a member of the Community Health Services and Development Officers Association (CHESOA), Rose is committed to driving positive change and advancing health development in Kenya.
