Seeku Wolamansa Janko is a dedicated individual with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and community engagement. He currently works with the All Gambia Forestry Platform (AGFP) and is Chairman of the Coalition Environment Organization (CGEO). Born and raised in Kafuta Village, Kimbo East District, West Coast, The Gambia, Janko has devoted the past 25 years to working with voluntary organizations, with his office located in the heart of Brikama town. He completed his education at Senior Secondary School and served as a pupil teacher from 1979 to 1985. Janko’s passion for sustainable natural resource management has led him to travel extensively throughout West Africa, forging connections with government institutions and organizations such as the Department of Forestry and American Peace. At AGFP, he specializes in beekeeping and conducts training sessions while advocating against unsustainable resource management practices in Africa.
