Jean Pierre Iradukunda was born and raised in the Gicumbi district, Northern Province of Rwanda. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Animal Science, specializing in Agribusiness, from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science, and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM) at the Busogo campus. Before joining, he worked as an agronomist facilitator in the CorpsAfrica Green Initiative project, focusing on the preparation of nursery beds in Nyamagabe District, Musange Sector, through community-based projects aimed at improving the living standards of the rural community. Additionally, he worked at Mulindi Factory Company LTD as a quality inspector.
Jean Pierre served in the reserve force (Green Gicumbi Project) for the preparation of nursery beds until transplantation. He gained valuable experience through two internship periods at Mulindi Factory Company LTD, where he was involved in preparing nursery beds for tea, tea plucking, tea processing, and marketing. Furthermore, he also served as the Catholic Representative at College Don Bosco de Rushaki.
Jean Pierre is determined to channel his efforts and skills toward serving the community. He firmly believes that the most significant source of pride comes from helping those in need without expecting a reward. He also holds the belief that discipline is the key to success in life, and he is convinced that anything is achievable when working together. As a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, he aspires to fulfill his dreams by making a meaningful contribution to the community.
