GARUKA Emmanuel was born in Gicumbi district, Rwanda. He is passionate about agriculture practices, especially sustainable agriculture which is climate-friendly with experiences in community leadership, hard work, and keeping a positive attitude. He graduated from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, and was awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Science with honors in Forestry. Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, he performed different duties including being a Treasurer in the Rwanda Village Community Promoters (RVCP)/Huye chapter and heading students in the prayers association at school as president. Currently, he is a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer with a passion for serving the community in Rwanda through active engagement in community activities to enhance community development.
