Bellama is an ambitious young woman dedicated to making positive impacts in Ghanaian communities. She started with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health (Nutrition). Currently, she is a McGill Mastercard Foundation grant recipient through which she leads a “Rural Women Empowerment” project that aims to transform Africa’s food systems by researching local foods, improving processing and storage methods, reducing post-harvest losses, and creating stable markets for local farmers. She envisions a world where individuals and communities unlock their full potential through the transformative power of mindset shifts. Through her CorpsAfrica service, she aims to inspire and empower rural communities, especially the youth, to discover the limitless possibilities within themselves and take ownership of their communities’ development.
