James Dzineso is an Exchange Volunteer from Malawi and served in cohort 7 and currently in cohort 8 in
Sénégal holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Seed Systems from the Lilongwe University of
Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) also holds Certificates in Project Planning, Monitoring and
Evaluation and Data Collection, Entry, and Analysis, a YALI-RLCSA-Alumni with a certificate in civic
leadership and also a holder of a certificate in project management from the University of Zambia. Before
joining CorpsAfrica, in the year 2021, he worked as a Seed Service Intern at Bvumbwe Research Station.
In 2018, he worked as a field supervisor at the National Statistical Office of Malawi, and in the year 2017
as a research assistant at Invest in Knowledge (NGO in Malawi). During his CorpsAfrica service in Malawi
in his community, he facilitated a tree-planting activity with members of his community as a way of coming
up with climate change resilience strategies through the CorpsAfrica Green initiative, also courtesy of
CorpsAfrica Pink he facilitated sanitary pad-making training with a mother group and teenage girls at a
a primary school in his community and also established a horticultural production activity with women in
his community and also to improve access to safe and hygienic conditions and create a
conducive environment for learners at a primary school on his site he facilitated a primary project where
his community built toilets and girls’ changing rooms with support from CorpsAfrica. As a Pan-Africanist
passionate about community development, James firmly believes that change is inevitable and should
be embraced from within and that development should be in the hands of the people themselves. James
has always been interested in serving rural communities in Africa in so doing helping them develop
themselves, and he strongly believes CorpsAfrica is the right platform for his personal and professional
development.
