Ikram Douaou is from Marrakech and majored in English Studies at Cadi Ayyad University. She also recently earned a master’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages in Culture, Media and Business with honors. Ikram began her life as a social activist at 17 years old, when she began taking part in and organizing community activities. Alongside her studies, she taught English in a public primary school as part of a local NGO’s program. Ikram perceives social work as a lifestyle and hopes to build a career as a strong social activist in the future. She always advises people to follow their passion whatever it is and to assume their choice. “We will never fail if we follow our passion. We might be mistaken and make the wrong choice, but we will grow from it.”
