Misirach Dola was born in Ethiopia. She pursued her higher education at Wolaita Sodo University, earning a degree in Civil Engineering. Her academic journey continued at Rift Valley University, where she obtained a degree in Business Management. Throughout her academic career, she demonstrated leadership qualities. She served as a Student Union Volunteer Leader, organizing various initiatives to enhance student engagement and welfare. She was also an active member of the Female Association, a group dedicated to empowering women and promoting gender equality in her community. During the summer seasons, she volunteered with the Youth Voluntary Service, organized by the S/N/N/P/R Women, Children, and Youth Affairs Bureau. In this role, she worked contributing to various community development projects. She aims to leverage her civil engineering expertise to contribute to sustainable infrastructure development in Ethiopia while continuing her advocacy for women’s empowerment and community engagement. She believes in the power of education and community involvement as catalysts for change. She is committed to using her skills and experiences to inspire others. Now a Volunteer of the second cohort of CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia aims to positively impact her community.
