Christian Hakuziyaremye, was born and raised in Rwanda. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Soil Science from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, class 2019. Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, he previously worked with One Acre Fund-Tubura in the Tree department & Market Access department from 2020-2023 as a Site Manager, Micro-entrepreneur, and later the Co-operative District Supervisor where he holds a record in selling more avocado seedlings in a single season where he doubled the target by selling 42 thousand avocado seedlings, he is a man with great convincing and influencing capacity skill. During three years in One Acre Fund-Tubura, he achieved so many things as he has successfully trained more than 10 thousand farmers on the proper way of planting avocado trees and trained 20 thousand farmers on the proper way of planting various species of agroforestry trees. He distributed more than 60 thousand avocado seedlings to 10 thousand farmers through 29 co-operatives in Gatsibo, Gicumbi, Rulindo, and Burera Districts and also distributed 180 thousand non-payable agroforestry trees to 20 thousand farmers of Burera District. During these years he developed many characteristics such as being a professional trainer, a good nursery beds manager, a sites manager, a good data collector, and has been one of One Acre Fund-Tubura Micro-entrepreneurs.
