Princess Chiumia is a graduate from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, where she studied Gender and Development. So far, she has collaborated with the Sozo Foundation to raise awareness on climate change through and educational initiative, which impacted the lives of thirty young children. In 2022, she volunteered in the technical sector for the successful execution of the Region5 Youth Games, ensuring that all necessary preparations were completed before the games commenced. These experiences have given her a deeper understanding of the dynamics that exist between diverse groups of people and equipped her on how she can navigate complex social interactions effectively.
Princess is a young lady who finds pleasure in working with the youth and empowering women and girls. She believes her passion for empowering women, girls, and youth stems not only from her academic and professional experience but also from her personal endeavors. She is thrilled to serve as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, as this platform aligns with her passion and commitment to empowering women, girls, and youth, enabling her to unlock her full potential.
