Isaac Joachim Chirambo is a graduate of the University of Livingstonia where he studied Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management. He is passionate about Environmental Conservation and youth empowerment. Before joining CorpsAfrica, in 2023 he volunteered as a Peer Educator at APAUSE Youth Organization where he empowered young people with vital life skills and health knowledge. He also did an internship with Mzuzu Diocese CADECOM which further honed his skills in community development. He is also a former member of the Mzuzu Youth Action Movement (YAM) which helped him gain essential skills for effective youth empowerment and leadership. Isaac enjoys listening to music, going to new places, and meeting new people, However, he also loves learning new things. During his university days, he was an active member of the Environmental Management Organization (EMASO) which improved his leadership skills and deepened his understanding of environmental issues. Furthermore, he did his university attachments at Lilongwe Wildlife and Environmental Society of Malawi (WESM) which helped him understand wildlife conservation and management, including animal monitoring and habitat preservation. He strongly believes that service with CorpsAfrica will get him out of his comfort zone and is eager to apply his knowledge and skills to create lasting positive change in the host community and is looking forward to a fruitful and enriching experience. He believes that working together on community-led initiatives can drive transformative change.
