Stella Chimosola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science in Social Work from the University of Malawi Chancellor College. She is passionate about improving the well-being of people, especially in environmental issues, education as well as community development. Stella enjoys spending much of her time with children mentoring them in education with an interest to be a role model to the youth. She strives to contribute to the realization of the sustainable development goals. She believes in helping people to help themselves for sustainable outcomes as they can change their own lives. While in school she volunteered with Lessons in Conservation teaching young people about environmental conservation. She has also worked with Youth Net and Counselling as a programs intern focusing on child protection case management, education and economic strengthening of women and the youth, and facilitation of Early Child Development (ECD) activities. She had another privilege to intern with the Catholic Health Commission doing HIV case management. All these experiences exposed her to working with people from rural communities which expanded her passion for community development more. She is confident that CorpsAfrica will be the catalyst that propels her growth and transforms her passion into impactful as well as sustainable change in people’s lives.
