Witness Chawinga is a graduate of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) and she holds a degree in Nutrition and Food Science. Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, she worked at Farmers’ Voice Africa as a Project Assistant Intern. During the same period, she volunteered with the Forum for AIDS Counseling and Training (FACT) in a project called, “Let Girls Shine” where she taught girls in selected rural primary schools to make reusable sanitary pads. She also has experience as an Assistant Nutritionist Intern for Rumphi District Hospital and Research Assistant for LUANAR in a project that aimed at addressing hidden hunger with agronomy. Through her previous experience, Witness gained a passion for youth empowerment and public health.
