Miracle Chanza is an enthusiastic leader passionate about education, the environment, and community development. She is a Mzuzu University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring in French and Geography. Before joining CorpsAfrica, Miracle worked as a teacher at Green Hills Academy and as an intern at Lilongwe Girls Secondary School. This helped her interact with students, exposed her to working with various children from different backgrounds, and equipped her with leadership and mentoring skills. While at the university, Miracle volunteered with the United Nations Youth Mzuni chapter, where she developed a passion for the environment. She also performed with Mzuzu University Theatre Arts Group (MUTAG), where she served as a secretary for two years, enhancing her theatre and arts skills and developing her public speaking skills. She believes that serving with CorpsAfrica will improve her community facilitation and mobilization skills and help her realize her full potential. This will also help her understand sustainable community development better and be part of a team that will help to change the lives of rural communities in Malawi, as the needs of rural communities affect the majority in different sectors.
