Gary Butzbach is treasurer of CorpsAfrica/Maroc. Currently retired, he was director of the American Language Center (ALC) of Rabat for over 25 years, during which time he also directed the ALC of Meknes and founded and directed the ALCs of Kenitra and Oujda. He was a long-time member of the Board and president of the American Cultural Association. He has been a member of the Board of the Moroccan-American Commission (Fulbright Commission) for 30 years, during which time he served as vice-president and vice-treasurer of the Commission. He earned his BA degree in philosophy & English literature at San Jose State University (California) and the MA-TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) program at SIT (School for Int’l Training), Vermont.
