Marie Anne Djilouga BIAGUI is originally from the Ziguinchor region in Senegal. She graduated from the Superior School of Applied Economy with a degree in Educational Mediation (2021) mentioning Training Engineering and Educational Research at ESEA Ex ENEA, Dakar). In addition, she has a diploma as an Educational Community Monitor since 2015.
Extremely motivated to constantly develop her skills and evolve professionally, she is confident in her ability to help people in vulnerable situations. It is in this wake that she joined various charitable associations to be closer to the population, especially those in rural areas. His professional career is more oriented towards Local Development, Community Development, and Early Childhood Development. In addition, she volunteers in several associations such as Young Men Christian Association Senegal (YMCA, 2019), Keur Massar United (KMU, 2022), and United Project 1 (UP1, 2022) of which she is the general secretary of the Ministry of Women and Childhood. These associations are generally active in the field of humanitarian work, specifically juvenile justice, improving the living conditions of the community, etc.
Volunteering is a way to promote collaboration and sharing in the service of a more livable and sustainable world. She had the chance to serve in the village of Thicatboynguel (Kaolack region, central Senegal) as a Volunteer (cohort 7). During her service, she works with her host community whose main activity is Agriculture (millet, corn, salt, etc.). Today as an Exchange Volunteer (cohort 8) in Malawi, she has set herself the objective of discovering other cultures, the experience of another population, acquiring new knowledge/experience, serving her community different from that of her country of origin participating in the development of Africa and have a positive impact.
