Volunteer Liaison

Frazer Kum’bweza Banda is a dedicated development practitioner with a strong background in community engagement and project implementation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) from the University of Malawi (Class of 2022). Frazer’s journey in development work began as a Cohort 6 CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Karonga, where he facilitated the establishment of an administration block at a primary school. He later served as a District Social Welfare Officer (Intern) at the Dowa District Council in Malawi, gaining experience in social protection and community welfare programs. He then rejoined CorpsAfrica as a Volunteer in Nkhata Bay, where he successfully led the implementation of the installation of two community boreholes, improving access to clean water. Beyond his Volunteer work, Frazer is a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) alumnus under Civic Leadership Track with a specialization in Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking. His expertise lies in community development, project facilitation, and fostering grassroots-driven solutions. Frazer believes that CorpsAfrica has provided him with a transformative platform to drive meaningful change, and he remains committed to advancing community-led development initiatives across Malawi and beyond.
