Coreen Banda is a graduate of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management (Land and Water) which provided her with a solid educational foundation in sustainable development and community engagement. Before joining CorpsAfrica/Malawi, she volunteered as an intern at Lilongwe District Council, Water Department where she worked on different initiatives aimed at improving local services and promoting sustainable development in rural communities of Lilongwe district. During her free time, Coreen loves and enjoys reading books, listening to music, playing netball, and visiting nature places which helps her to relax and recharge. Her passion for community development is driven by her desire to empower underserved populations and create lasting positive change. She’s committed to furthering her expertise with this opportunity at CorpsAfrica/Malawi to make meaningful contributions to the well-being of communities in Malawi.
