Desire Ahishakiye is a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer, who started his primary and ordinary lever at Nyamure Secondary School in Nyanza District. He finished his high school in Nyakabanda Secondary School located in Muhanga District. He finished his university courses in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Journalism and Communication from the University of Rwanda-Huye Campus. With a passion for community development, communication, and education, Desire Ahishakiye, has gained valuable experience through internships at the National Industrial Research and Development Agency (NIRDA) as an Internee in the Public Relations Office and data collection projects. His commitment to sustainable development led him to join CorpsAfrica Rwanda, a non-profit organization focused on empowering communities through volunteer-driven projects using innovative approaches like Asset-Based Community Development and Human-Centered Design.
