James Achala is a Biotechnology and Molecular Biology graduate from the University for Development Studies (UDS). Specializing in molecular techniques such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and integrated pest management (IPM). With practical field experience in community research, he helped address environmental challenges like water contamination in rural communities, advocating for sustainable wetland management. He earned key laboratory experience as a Laboratory/Research Assistant at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), where he worked on agricultural projects involving DNA and RNA analysis, as well as fruit fly colony management. His dedication to contributing to scientific progress was further exhibited during his role at the African Health Economics and Policy Association (AfHEA), where he supported administrative and programmatic tasks for a major scientific conference. He combines a passion for community development with a solid foundation in molecular research, contributing to sustainable environmental and agricultural solutions.
