Applications Are Open!: Apply for CorpsAfrica’s Alumni Entrepreneurship Incubator Program

CorpsAfrica, with the generous support of the Mastercard Foundation, is pleased to announce the call for applications to the Entrepreneurship Incubator Program. CorpsAfrica’s Alumni Entrepreneurship Incubator is a virtual program designed to support the growth and development of alumni businesses. Its mission is to promote sustainable job creation and youth innovation in Africa through direct support of alumni ventures. CorpsAfrica is committed to providing upfront seed funding for ventures selected in this program. The seed funding can be up to $5,000. As part of this program, CorpsAfrica aims to help its alumni ventures increase their profits, create more job opportunities, and gain access to the Miller Center’s investment readiness accelerator program.

The eligible criteria for the CorpsAfrica Alumni Entrepreneurship Incubator program could include:

  • Alumni Status: Participants must be alumni of CorpsAfrica.
  • Venture Stage: Ventures should ideally be in the growth stage, with established legal structures and generating revenue.
  • Business Viability: Ventures should have a clear business model with potential for sustainability and scalability.
  • Impact: Ventures should aim to create social, economic, and environmental impact in their communities.
  • Legal Status: Ventures must have legal status where applicable.
  • Commitment: Entrepreneurs must commit to fully participate in the program activities, including training, workshops, and mentoring sessions.
  • Use of Funds: Applicants must demonstrate that funds will be used directly for business purposes and not personal expenses.
  • Readiness for Investment: Ventures should be interested in scaling their operations and potentially seeking further investment.

         Apply before September 1st, 2024.
