Ikrame Sadik was born in Ifrane City; she spent most of her life in Oujda and Tangiers where she attended her primary and secondary school. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Management from Al Akhawayn University, completing her thesis on the impact of macroeconomic factors on the performance of banks in the MENA region in 2022. She previously obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Finance and Management from the same university in 2020. Her capstone project during her undergraduate studies focused on utilizing blockchain for effective control of exports and international trade. She worked as a Sales Representative of Real Estate at IBH, and she is an Alumni Trainee at McKinsey & Company, she acquired skills in critical leadership, business agility, effective communication, problem-solving, and adapting to the digital world. Her experience at McKinsey equipped her with the ability to turn complex business challenges into opportunities, employing agile ways of working. Ikrame is skilled in utilizing data and technology to identify prospects, and she thrives both independently and in team settings due to her adaptability, resilience, and emotional awareness. Ikrame participated as an alumni trainee in the African Middle Eastern Leadership, focusing on promoting human rights and gender inclusiveness. She is an activist advocating for safety, self-care, and mental health. Additionally, Ikrame has dedicated her time to studying the Holocaust & and genocide history/prevention, conflict transformation, and nonviolent movements. She is passionate about democratic development and has undergone training with renowned international experts like Larry Diamond from Stanford and Erica Chenoweth from Harvard to enhance her communication skills and techniques for activists, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. She was a teacher assistant Intern at Al Akhawayn University, a Senior Business Planner at Le Point Sur Le I and an Inventory Management Assistant at Laboratories Indoka Bio. In terms of social work, Ikrame actively participated in various clubs at her university such as Hand in Hand, UNICEF, and Erasmus. She was engaging in projects related to human development in Morocco, community involvement, food supply and distribution, education, childcare, financial aid, and fundraising. She also had experience working on sustainable projects that promote local cooperatives in the region of Ifrane and dedicated her efforts to protecting and empowering individuals through the Amnesty Club, advocating for the abolition of the death penalty and the protection of sexual and reproductive rights. With a strong focus on compliance, Ikrame possesses excellent organizational, planning, and management skills. She is proficient in various software. Her exceptional oral and written communication skills make her an effective communicator. Moreover, she is well-known for her leadership abilities, conflict management skills, cross-cultural management expertise, and teamwork. Outside of her professional pursuits, Ikrame is passionate about social work, designing using Canvas, public speaking, and traveling. She maintains a healthy lifestyle through yoga, mindfulness, and sports. In addition, she seeks personal and intellectual growth by actively learning foreign languages.
