Bakhita Gondwe used to help her father in many charitable activities among the underprivileged, mainly in the rural communities, which her father was passionate about. Imparted with her father’s spirit, she has been extending her hand to some girls in a few selected primary schools with school funds such as examination fees and development funds. She has recently graduated from Mzuzu University with a Bachelor of Education Arts with credit. As a student, Bakhita joined Mzuzu University United Nations Youth Volunteer (MUNYV), where she served as a secretary. She facilitated a project in tree planting at Kafukule Community Day Secondary School. Before joining CorpsAfrica, she was working at Katoto Secondary School as an English and Bible knowledge teacher. She is passionate about providing home care for the elderly, orphans, and less privileged. She is also passionate about community-led development, which she believes CorpsAfrica will undoubtedly help in her vision realization by passing on skills, knowledge, and experience.
