I currently live in Thiès, being originally from Dakar. I trained in tourism and hospitality at Assane Seck University in Ziguinchor. My professional background is more focused on entrepreneurship and service to the community. I first had to work at Technoplus Informatique where I was in charge of customer service. I was also a volunteer for the YMCA Senegal Thiès branch, and then and then and then support volunteer and animator within the framework of the juvenile justice project and trainer in the Génimi project. I also got into entrepreneurship with basic training in saponification, bleaching, cosmetics, nutrition, food, and pastry. And with this training I manage my own business. I also worked in a dental technician’s office. Why volunteer at CorpsAfrica? I am because I like being in the field, discovering new realities, and learning from people. CorpsAfrica is a way to gain experience, to acquire new skills, and also a way for me to serve my country, to be able to say that I have participated in our development. My goal is to learn and help a community to change their mindset and understand that development is first and foremost ourselves. This service is an opportunity to better prepare for the professional environment.
