On September 26th, 2024, CorpsAfrica hosted its second reception during the UN General Assembly Week in NYC. This year’s theme was African Youth Driving Transformative Change. Over 150 attendees including partners, government officials, and NGO leaders gathered to learn more about CorpsAfrica.
UM6P Strategic Summit
July 11-13, 2024 I Benguerir, Morocco
From July 11-13, 2024, CorpsAfrica and UM6P convened for a full-day strategic conference in Benguerir, Morocco, followed by two days of site visits to communities in the High Atlas Mountains to better understand the impact of CorpsAfrica Volunteers and understand collaboration opportunities.

The African Renaissance: Empowering Youth-Led Innovation for Continental Renewal event took place during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week and featured African experts and leading practitioners in youth development, philanthropy, and locally-led initiatives joining together to learn and share about innovative and impactful models for youth development.
Project Demo Day - ghana

CorpsAfrica/Ghana hosted its first Project Demo Day on July 27, 2023. Inspired by Shark Tank, an American TV Show’s pitch format, chosen CorpsAfrica/Ghana Volunteers pitched community-identified projects to local businesses, philanthropists, development partners, and more.
2023 All-Country Conference
June 11-17, 2023 | Kigali, Rwanda
CorpsAfrica hosted its second All-Country Conference this past June in Kigali, Rwanda, bringing together Volunteers, staff, board members, and partners from around the world. The conference featured an engaging schedule of workshops, breakout discussions, plenary sessions, and site visits. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of CorpsAfrica’s model for locally-led development and plan to share ideas. The conference showcased a powerful Pan-African network dedicated to public service and launched the organization’s next stage of growth into six countries in the next two years
